Albany Creek State High School is a co-educational secondary school of approximately 1261 students, which is located 16 kilometres north of Brisbane. The school receives most of its students from the Albany Creek, Albany Hills and Eatons Hill primary schools.
Our vision of "building a world class learning organisation" provides a focus for curriculum, and teaching and learning at Albany Creek State High School. The core values of the school of respect, responsibility, reliability and resilience underpin high expectations and standards of student behaviour and performance. The junior secondary curriculum, based on the eight key learning areas, focuses on skills development, guiding our students to accept responsibility and develop independence in their learning as they move into the senior school. The three-year senior school program, offers an extensive range of academic and vocational subjects, with university and tafe study, school-based apprenticeships and traineeships, together with structured work placements and work experience.
