GBS Touch News

18/08/2017

On Saturday, 29 July six teachers along with 60 students travelled to MacGregor, to tackle event five on the GBS Calendar - Touch, ready to battle the might of our competition in MacGregor State High School, Brisbane Bayside State College, Kenmore State High School and Ferny Grove State High School. What a result...two firsts and four thirds. Overall placing...First to Albany Creek State High School.

What an achievement. Our Senior Girls and Middle Boys were victors on the day. Each other division put in battling performances, to finish third each and just miss out on the chance at the finals.

Albany Creek State High School has now extended our lead at the top of the table. A whopping 175 points. That is 52 points ahead of our nearest school. Three schools are hotly contesting second spot, but we are leading with daylight between us.

Another great performance from Albany Creek State High School.
